Background: The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted medical education, including at Seoul National University College of Medicine (SNUCM), requiring adjustments to teaching methods.

Methods: SNUCM adapted its anatomy education, mixing online lectures and in-person sessions for about 50 students per class. The study evaluated students' exam performance and gathered feedback through questionnaires.

Results:

• All sessions were completed without COVID-19 cases.

• Exam scores in 2020 generally decreased compared to 2019, except for the trunk session, which saw improved scores due to a virtual anatomy app.

• Over 70% of students reported no major difficulties with in-person labs.

Conclusions: Effective cadaver dissection programs are needed to overcome pandemic restrictions. These findings can help guide anatomy education during similar crises.
